Functional redesign in stages, for a brand that is taking over the market.

Client: Talentchef

Year: 2024

Project: Custom modular development website

Pixel perfect in real time for an international brand that couldn’t stop while we were developing the new website.

An impactful website with a lot of punch.

Narrative scroll,
advanced animations and
a minimalist aesthetic.

The Challenge

The project started from an old WordPress site, with much of the content being obsolete and hardly reusable, which required a deep clean without compromising the link structure or the sitemap, key to preserving SEO positioning. The design had to be a pixel-perfect match to the mockup provided by Talentchef in specific versions for desktop and mobile, and the development was organized in stages, always keeping the website operational. Meanwhile, the client’s team continued to upload content to the old website, which forced constant synchronization between environments. In addition, it was necessary to integrate complex systems such as external news, services, projects, multilingual vacancies, and custom functionalities for each section.

The Solution

We carried out a thorough cleaning of the previous WordPress, keeping only the essentials to ensure compatibility and update the entire technical environment. We developed a completely custom theme with Elementor Pro, supported by modern technologies like Webpack and GSAP, and built a new homepage adapting the old content without breaking the web. Functionalities such as a light/dark theme switcher, an animated SVG map with global offices, and dynamic sections such as services, projects, press, and job openings were integrated, all custom-designed according to the client’s needs. Each module was developed with precision, combining custom design and advanced technical development.

A sophisticated digital experience to conquer the international hotel sector.

Highlights

The development was executed progressively and in stages, ensuring that the site remained active and functional at all times. A custom theme was created from scratch with Elementor, incorporating advanced technologies such as Webpack and GSAP, and constant synchronization was maintained between the development and production environments. Unique functionalities were implemented, such as a light/dark theme selector, an animated SVG map with international presence, and a project architecture directly linked to the services offered. In addition, a job vacancy system per language was developed, with direct integration with HR, and the ‘pixel-perfect’ design was fully respected on both desktop and mobile. The partial maintenance system allowed working in phases without affecting the general operation of the site, and a fluid integration of dynamic data and cross-categorizations was achieved in all sections.

Timelines

The development was organized based on milestones and functional sections, following an iterative methodology. For each phase, we started with the design of the prototype, which was validated by the client before moving on to development. While that part went into production, we began designing the next block, which allowed for continuous progress while obtaining real feedback on what had already been delivered. This work dynamic, adapted to the project’s particularities and the client’s constant activity on the original website, did not follow a fixed schedule, but we estimate that the entire process—from the initial cleanup to the final delivery—extended over about 8 months.
